Re James Paterson

Up until the 1960's there was aThomas Paterson at Eastfield Farm Darvel (now the home of Mrs Macxk of tv fame) I wonder if they were related as they are only a few miles away! Do you find this valuable?

I had a wee look in FREECEN for 1851 Galston and Loudoun parishes for Paterson, farmers. There were 5 Patersons in Galston, 2 of which were born Craigie and 2 Patersons in Loudoun, (Yondercroft & Templehill)
there could be a few Paterson family connections there....and wasn't it a Paterson who had the fruit shop in Darvel before Robert Struthers took it over? Do you find this valuable?

Quite right Agnes , Tom Paterson and Madge was his sister both worked in the shop . Maybe she was his wife dunno ! Do you find this valuable?
