Even with the Statutory registration of marriages the church kept a register of proclaimations. Forthcoming marriage banns has to be "proclaimed" during the church service. Today banns can be either called during the service or posted up atthe registry office. Remember the date of marriage will be after the date of proclamation.

To add a proclamation, click on "add a new page" from the menu on the left, then select the Proclamations templete from the pop-up menu.
