Loudoun Kirk circa 12th century

Loudoun Kirk Burials

This is a new website which we hope will help family history researchers find answers and be a means to contact other researchers. We now have a substantial database of families and connected families which we are willing to share. Although specifically interested in Loudounkirk we may be able to help with the Loudoun and Galston parish queries and if we can't, maybe someone else can. If you think you have family buried in Loudounkirk, please let us know, we'd like to hear from you.

If you are looking for Birth, Death Marriage registrations,or Census just click on the relevant sub menus. The registrations are transcribed and some of the information was difficult to read so there may be mistakes.

This is an opportunity to share information and if you wish to contribute, click on the relevant registration and if there is a sub menu, you can click on it but don't worry if you don't, can be adjusted later. Once you get your page for the event registration, click on "add a new page". Title the page, surname first and add the year prefixed by B M D, depending on the event, select the template from the menu, add key words, i.e. surnames of whoever appears on the registration, and "Add the page" and once it is downloaded, Click on Easy Edit, here you can complete the template, add extra information as necessary. Save your page and if you have more registrations to add, go back to the event registration and add another new page. Don't worry if you get stuck, if you can't sort it, we probably can, so have a go, and have some fun. Don't forget you can add your own profile.
