The deaths have been transcribed from death registrations. Some of the words are difficult to read but if you have any doubts, please notify us and we will check the details again.

I have virtually dozens of BMD's and I have transcribed the ones for Loudoun parish. It has taken hours to read the registrations - the writing I can deal with better than the poor copies. Loudoun's registrar has a lot to answer for. There may be mistakes and I will be happy if anyone with a better transcription can amend the errors. Sometimes better copies of unreadable registrations can be obtained from scotlandspeople if requested.

Don't forget to add the surname first on the title page followed by the first name & (D and then then year), it makes it easier to track.
