One of the founding members of Friends of Loudoun Kirk. I have no family ties to Loudoun, just a love of local history and heritage, with memories of going there as a pleasant place to eat a poke of chips.

Co-author of the book The Last Miller: The Cornmills of Ayrshire.

Varied career from countryside ranger and falconer, working in the Reference Library at the Dick Institute (Kilmarnock), through to my present post as a Librarian for Keele University & NHS.

Don't get quite as much time as I would like to devote to scottish local history research, so apologies if there is a delay in replying to any queries.
